To add money to your urble wallet or savings account by CHF or EUR bank transfer, you first need to complete a one-time identity verification with our regulated exchange partner.

urble does not execute fiat-to-crypto conversions directly. Our partner processes the exchange, receives your bank transfer and sends the selected digital asset to your urble wallet or savings account.

Our current partner is DFX AG, a Swiss financial intermediary affiliated with the VQF. Before starting, you can review DFX’s fees, terms and privacy policy in the urble app.

Verification normally takes only a few minutes and is completed once during the initial setup. Our partner may occasionally request updated or additional information where required.

Identity verification is only needed for deposits and withdrawals involving a bank account. If you already hold crypto assets elsewhere, you can transfer them directly to your urble wallet or an urble savings account without completing this bank-transfer setup.

Before you start

Have one of the following identity documents ready:

  • Passport
  • Identity card
  • Driving licence
  • Residence permit

We recommend completing the process on a mobile phone, as you may need to photograph your identity document and complete a short identity check.

1. Start identity verification

Open the urble app, go to your Wallet and tap Receive → From your bank account.

If you have not yet completed verification, you will see information about the exchange partner responsible for processing your CHF or EUR transfer, including links to its terms and privacy policy.

Tap Start Identity Verification to continue.

2. Complete the verification steps

You will be redirected to our partner’s verification process.

You will be asked to:

  • Confirm your email address
  • Enter personal information such as your name, address and nationality
  • Verify your identity using an accepted identity document

The process usually takes only a few minutes.

3. Wait for approval

Once you have submitted your information, our partner will review it.

If any additional information or documents are required, the partner will contact you directly by email.

4. Get your personal bank details

Once your verification has been approved, return to Receive → From your bank account in the urble app.

You will see the bank transfer details required for your deposit, which may include:

  • Personal IBAN
  • BIC
  • A personal transfer message or reference

Always use the exact details shown in the app. The transfer message may change depending on the currency or digital asset you want to receive.

You can use these details for a one-time bank transfer or to set up a standing order.

For further instructions, see How to Set Up Bank Transfers and Standing Orders.

Additional checks

Depending on your transaction volume and circumstances, our partner may request additional information, such as evidence of the source of your funds.

If this is required, the partner will contact you directly and explain which documents are needed.

Getting help

If you experience a problem during verification or have questions about a request for additional information, open the partner’s support section from the verification or bank-transfer screen in the urble app.

From there, you can browse the partner’s FAQs or submit a support request.
